Hello Pat.  3C here this morning - still pretty cold overnight.

And good morning to anyone else... off to catch my train in a few minutes.  Not sure if I'll be able to pop in during the next fortnight - depends on my mobile signal, which in turn is dependent on the weather.  Hope you get good gardening weather while I'm away!
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

Good morning.   Sunny here but chilly cos the breeze is from the north-east.   Admin for me then two new radiator covers to paint.  Deep joy.

Hope your journey is good Liri and you enjoy your break.  Not all painting I hope.

OH has just been called in to help the B team at golf after one player has dropped out so that's me, home alone and play time.

    Have a good day everyone.

    Morning all.
    Another glorious sunny morning here.
No decision made, tempted to do both. The extra 4 hours on Sunday, at "time and half" pays 6 hours so almost, but not quite, covers the loss of Thursday's 7 hours, for less hours worked. Might propose doing both, but with the option to drop Thursday later.
Another plus to working just Sunday is that I'd be free to do other stuff/ visits etc.
@Liriodendron, I was in bed 3 hours before you got home, and was still asleep for 2 hours after you got up!!
Hubby has just called. He's "up country" pricing up work and has had over £10K of work approved for this summer.

    ☕️ ☕️ ... that’s better ... 😀
its bright out there, but a bit overcast too. There was ‘a touch of frost’ first thing but it soon disappeared ...
I have a trip into the city planned for this afternoon ... mainly for a haircut, but I’ll get some food from the market and a few toiletries as well ... and I need to buy a few birthday cards ... loads of birthdays coming up ...

@Hostafan1. If I were in your position I would give up the lot,  lots more gardening time and think of all those trips to Rosemoor 😇

    Hi all.
I think it comes down to money, @Hostafan1
If you can live [ not just survive ] without the work, and if you don't enjoy it, then stop.
How can you lie there and think of England

I know I grumble about it sometimes, but I love my job,and most of the people there.
Hubby is very generous but he'd not stand for me giving up having an income, nor would I expect him to.
I think I'm going to go with the extra hours Sunday and keep Thursday for the time being.
I can't earn too much and go over the tax threshold, my accountant would have a fit!!
