LP she was a nurse when we met, but gave that up over 20 years ago and is now a communications expert [ I don't fully understand what she does ] I always find that as well, Hosta.
How can you lie there and think of England When you don't even know who's in the team
Evening. Ah - it’s the season for aching backs and sore knees, otherwise known as Spring.
I hate interviews. I should have one coming up soon (if I am shortlisted) and I’m worried already. It’s like a performance, with plenty of acting (saying all the buzz words) and the pressure to remember your lines! Some people seem to be good at interviews (weirdos), but they aren’t always necessarily the best person for the job. I hope Moira can show ‘them’ that she is the one for the job 🍀
A lovely mauve sky tonight. Hope everyone doing ok.
I've had a call from work offering me the option of working 12 hours on Sunday and giving up my Thursday or doing the 12 hour Sunday and keep doing Thursday too.
Would be nice to do just one day a week, but as I finish Thursday at 2.30 , it's not the longest shift.
Hosta - The extra hours would maybe pay for an upgrade to Business class for hubby's plans for your significant birthday? Or lots more plants? Funnily enough, when I plant a new bed I'm more likely to be surprised by how many more plants I need.......
Best of luck to Moira. You too Aunty Rach.
Interesting day at patch for me. Revolution in the air. Then mosaic class where most of the ladies are gardeners so I have promises of vinca and white Japanese anemones to come. I hope they'll take off but suspect they'll just sit as it can be so dry here.
Bed time now. Sweet dreams all.

Very droll Punk! I never understand communication nowadays. We just had a phone and a fax machine. Thought we were very smart Hosta what’s the long range weather forecast? Might help the decision making i have a lot of reading back to do but I hope all is well, or as good as it can be living in the shambolic times.

Just back from the singing do. Thanks for good wishes! Voice rose an octave overnight, which was a relief, so I was sounding slightly more human by 8pm when we sang. Now bed, up tomorrow at 5.15 to catch the early train...
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
We are just back from cutting our first load of firewood for the season. Doesn’t seem very long since we were cutting every week.😳. 6c temp this morning, so the nights are cooling down.

@punkdoc Good luck to Moira from me too .
I've been planting in the new bed. The more I put into it, the smaller it seems.
I always find that as well, Hosta.

Decisions, decisions......
Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.
