@LG ... Vltava ❤️ it was the first ‘classical’ LP I ever bought ... heard it on the radio, didn’t know what it was so I wrote to the BBC and asked them, waited weeks for the reply but they wrote back so I went to the record shop and ordered it 😊

It really does sweep one away, doesn't it? We were rather close to the horns so got a bit deafened at times, but it was really lovely.

    Morning all.
We go back to France tomorrow so it's a housework day today. Need to weedkill the paths too, but it's quite windy.

Sunny here and beautiful but so chilly in the breeze form the east.  I've been doing patchwork homework all morning and now have some oatmeal biscuits baking to take with me - confit lemon zest and sultanas.  We'll see.

Just heard that Scott Walker has died.  Crikey!  Loved his voice, especially with the Walker Bros - still makes me go all gooey at the knees - but not so keen when he went all Jacques Brel and dramatised stuff too much.

Have a safe trip back BL.  I wouldn't risk spraying in a breeze but then I can spray whenever it's right as I don't flit about.

Had to google for that Smetana piece which, it turns out, I've loved for decades but never know its name.   Enjoy your gardening everyone, or whatever else you have to do today.

Morning all, afternoon Pat 😀 Hope your both well Pat, I know what you mean about energy, I've surprised myself! But working less hours and being happy and less tired, I'm so much more productive! 😊

Bad luck being in windowless room all day LG! I hope at least its an interesting case 😊 OH went back to work today with instructions to take it easy! Luckily his boss is a caring nag as well 😉

Won an ottoman seat in need of tlc on freecycle so that's another project to get my teeth into!

Safe trip back BusyL, the Norfolk garden pictures are showing a real difference now! 😊

Morning Dove, Hosta and Pdoc, all in the garden, just at work at the moment but I'll be pottering myself by mid afternoon! 😀
    Have a lovely day all!

Lovely morning in the garden; weeding, planting, dividing.
Now totally done in, can't manage like I used too.
Promised Moira I would listen to her presentation this pm., she has an interview tomorrow. She is starting to get disheartened by all the rejections.

Good good luck to Moira tomorrow.  What kind of area does she work in. I remember you saying your eyes met over masks in theatre but I think she may have moved on since then?
glorious day here managed all 3 walks of 6 mins with Talla and I didn’t wobble once!
