Cordylines fall into the same grouping as rockeries, hanging baskets, window boxes and lavender hedges : for every nice one see , you see a hundred horrors.

I knew you’d find a spot for them Hosta!
Well, I can thoroughly recommend omelettes with sweet potato, red onion and goats cheese - total yum 😋

Sounds like an Obxx fritata!  Did quiches with no pastry for years and then discovered they'e an Italian staple.

Dove - if you have a mo there's a question or two for you on the hens thread please.

Well done Lyn.   And Hosta!  And Hosta hubby!

Sunny here and beautiful but so chilly in the breeze form the east.  I've been doing patchwork homework all morning and now have some oatmeal biscuits baking to take with me - confit lemon zest and sultanas.  We'll see.

Just heard that Scott Walker has died.  Crikey!  Loved his voice, especially with the Walker Bros - still makes me go all gooey at the knees - but not so keen when he went all Jacques Brel and dramatised stuff too much.

Have a safe trip back BL.  I wouldn't risk spraying in a breeze but then I can spray whenever it's right as I don't flit about.

Had to google for that Smetana piece which, it turns out, I've loved for decades but never know its name.   Enjoy your gardening everyone, or whatever else you have to do today.

I loved Scott Walker too, gorgeous voice. Had a bit of a crush on him.

I did the weed spraying in the end, the wind dropped late afternoon.

We are back in France now. It was 18° in Bergerac, 16° here, now it's 5°. Daffodils are on the way out. Peas, rocket and broad beans are germinating, lots of purple sprouting broccoli is ready, had some for dinner. Loads of cherry blossom out. OH has already been mowing.

Maybe it isn't tomorrow, I was on the page of Obelixx's post that I quoted. Edit won't work.
