That’s disgusting Punkdoc. What type of people there are about nowadays.

Makes me mad when people help themselves to things that don’t belong to them.

our news is full of Brexit stuff, as well as the NSW voting results. Very boring.

    Morning and G’day all.
That is astounding @punkdoc - I am struggling to visualise how that heist was even performed?!
I hope they were stung in unmentionable places. Awful.

Bad luck Punkdoc. I hope the thieving gits  get badly stung.  Who knew it was there?

Lovely day here, I here the garden calling. Seeds to sow, sunshine to bask in.

@punkdoc ... seen any drones around? (and no, that’s not meant to be an insensitive joke).

That's dreadful Pdoc.  You really do need to think about CCTV to protect you from such oiks and NDN.  You must be so cross but also saddened.   Hugs.

It is sunny here but there's a cold easterly blowing so a bit fresh feeling.  I have been out to water all the plants in pots in the potager and also blasted the inside of the donkey shed to remove dust and sparrow poo.   Cleared it yesterday.   The sparrows nest in the space between the roof boards and the terracotta tiles.  Quite a colony.

Have to get some patchwork homework done for tomorrow so indoors for a while now.  Like Hosta tho, my wee brain is churning with planting plans for my new roses and clems bed.

Well done for delegating Wonky and well done step Womble.    Chicky - when we lived near Gembloux I collected all sorts of old postcards showing its past with the old abbey, pig markets in the street, the new railway station and the high street with old shops.  Love social history like that.

Hope everyone's having a great day in sunshine.  If not, stay tucked up warm.

Have spoken to our bee man. He says it is quite common, but they have no idea how the thieves know where the hives are, as most of them are out of side.
He thinks they must have some knowledge, because most people would be scared to try and move a hive.

@punkdoc ... I hate to cast aspersions , but did the tree surgeons know where the hive was?

Good point Dove, they may well have seen it, when they were up the Beech tree.
I do hope not, they seemed like really nice guys.
