Sounds like an interesting talk Chicky, lovely that some of the families remain locally 😊
Well I removed the guttering from the shed, retied the climbing rose, cut lots back, sowed some larkspur seeds, watered and then thought I'd dig a pond. Marked hole, lifted turf, loosened soil, realised I broke my spade, found a shovel and six got six step Womble showed up just in time! 😉
So after negotiation, we decided that homemade cheeseburgers and sweet potato fries was a suitable recompense for soil removal! 😀
    Thinking of hiring him out!

Pond picture will have to be tomorrow, it was dark by the time I was done! 😉 night night all! 😀

Chicky that talk must been really good. Such a help if people want to see where their ancestors had lived back then. Hubby is an avid genealogist - he’s managed to trace ancestors back quite a long way, and of course they are all from the UK and Ireland where we will never visit.😡 Too late now for us. I couldn’t imagine sitting in a plane that long.

    Wonky, your energy amazes me.
    Sleep well everyone.

    Good morning all  :) ☕️
You see Hosta, waking early can be positive ... time to plan the day 🌞

Hmmm ... I think I’ll have to make my own coffee ...

I've looked at the clock and thought " it's 20 to, I need to get a move on" then realised it's only 20 to 7.
Don't have to be at work until 8.

    Hi all.
Poor nights sleep, heard noises, investigated, thieving b#####ds have stolen my bee hive.
How did they know it was there? You can't see it from the lane, you can't see it if you wander into the orchard, you actually have to know it is there.
    Why?
How can you lie there and think of England

@punkdoc, assuming it had bees in it, that's pretty audacious, and more than a little foolhardy.

    It was full of bees.
Apparently they are quite valuable. I suppose you have to know what you are doing, to steal a full bee hive.

And be dressed appropriately. I know when my "bee lady " comes , she's suited and booted and ready for action.
