My mane is being attended to next week ... a strimmer may be needed ... now onwards and upwards to get ready for visitors tomorrow. Must remember to split and pot some Ger. Rozanne for MIL to take with her ...

Morning all, afternoon Pat, lovely eucalyptus trees Pat! 😀
Hosta you have all that extra time in the garden for waking early!! 😉
Dove, sounds like you had a wonderful coastal day trip yesterday! Glad you both enjoyed it!
Out in the garden for me too in a bit Chicky! I have to visit a lady about two hours gardening work a week first and view hee garden. 😊
After that I intend to remove the guttering from the shed which is hanging off and fighting with a rambling rose! Seedlings to tend to also and more seeds to sow as well as a good cut back of everything!
Hope everyone has a lovely Saturday 😀

That article is very frightening, Hosta. I’m glad I’m not type 1. I’m under threat from my GP that I’m close to type 2, but I wouldn’t be able to afford those prices.

Im glad you like the photos Liri. I’ve put a couple of puzzles on of them for you. 😁

Lovely trees Pat.  I do love interesting bark and outlines.

Bright and sunny here but I've been painting.  Fiddly bits fixing the masking tape disaster and the surrounds of the built-in cupboard which used to hold toys but will be modified to have hanging space for OH's clothes.   He, meanwhile has been digging and weeding in the potager.   Bit more painting for me this pm and then donkey shed cleaning.

I went to the hairdresser twice last year but only to get a trim and lose some layers I had done 2 years ago.     I do my own fringe too Liri - when I can't get past it easily to apply mascara for my public face.   Hope yours has turned out well Chicky.

Sounds like you have your work cut out today Wonky but in a good way.

I hope it's sunny for all of you and you're having a great day.

Lots of weeding done - one more day tomorrow and I think we’re ready for the great mulching challenge 😜

Hair has turned out fine thanks Obxx - i have had the same hairdresser for 20 years (we worked that out today 😁) and she is a genius 💇🏼‍♀️.  Always nice to see her, have a chat, and come out tidy to boot 👍🏻

Went to a talk in our village hall last night by the local history society.  They have found a book written by the vicar in 1883, listing all the houses in his parish, occupants names, occupations etc.....183 houses in total, most of which still exist today.  He made the list as he wandered round, so the talk followed his footsteps.  Fascinating, with lots of old photos too, and little stories about the families.  Some of the families are still in the area - descended from labourers rather than the landed gentry.....in fact one was in the audience.
