Had wet kisses from 3 small grandsons  D and roast chicken for lunch. Just got back, having then I will go and get a trailer load of manure for the veg garden. Bought 15 sacks of 50L compost this morning in the small GC. The offer had changed, 4€50 a sack or 9€ for 3, web site was probably wrong, not bad for here anyway. Went to big GC on the way home, gosh it's pricey!

A flock of cranes have just flown noisily past, coming back for summer, always exciting.

We have a telegraph pole in our garden, it was swaying! I’m getting onto the electric company tomorrow, think they need to put a new pole in or dig a deeper hole.

Hope you all stay safe with Freya wet & blustery here off & on but so far nothing of great concern.

    Back safe and sound.
It wasn't too bad this morning when I was along the coast at Tintagel and Boscastle but certainly pretty blowy this evening when I was out again.

According to the radar we are just on the edge of lots of rain but just a dribble so far and no great gusts.  The locals all think we're in for a wet week but the forecast says not.  I wouldn't mind some rain.

Hope that leccy pole holds Lyn.

Evening all. I hope you all safe and well.
Pretty blustery here but should be subsiding anytime.
Had a quiet day here. Didn’t manage the Welsh Cakes but did do some fairy cakes with my neiece and her cousin (5 and 3) and they have impressive baking skills already - accurate measuring, good egg-cracking technique and even remembered to mix the flour gently! A grade (if you like orange, pink and purple icing with sprinkles).
I have a few days off work now - lovely jubbly.
Take care all - especially if you have the storm, or snow, or ridiculously hot weather (just you on that last one Pat!).
My garden and I live in South Wales.
