  • Ugh!  That previous message should have read 3am!!

Now it's 4:15am the next day, and it's been a lousy night.

Yup, I'm awake after some very horrible dreams which have set my heart racing and making me feel quite nervy. Come down for a cup of tea, hope that sorts me out.
  • Hi @Songbird-2
Sorry that you've joined us insomniacs. Hoping that a cuppa sets you on the path to sleep again.

It's typical, just because I have to be up early I wake at 3.30am and can't get back to sleep! Ugh.

I did that @purplerallim … thankfully I did get back to sleep after an hour or so … but as I had to be up and dressed by 8 ish as the decorator is here working in the bathroom, I still feel tired. 🥱
    More coffee needed ☕️ ☕️ ☕️

  • I did get a little sleep - not as much as I need though, by a long shot.
Wife now out for the day. I have family coming for a brief visit.
If the neighbours go out, I might get a snooze sometime.
  • It's about 4:45am, and I've got awake for some time. Again.
Worrying about the potential house move.

What if we can't fit in all our stuff? I've got loads of books.

Do you have any storage places nearby (such as Big Yellow Group, others are available) @rowlandscastle444 ?

It may be worth using them as a temporary solution for any books etc that you can manage without.
Once you are in your new place and settled, you can then see how much space you have to play with.

I appreciate that it costs money, but it may be one less thing to stress about.

I went from a three bed house to a bungalow @rowlandscastle444 , it's amazing how things fit in.  We only got rid of one bed in the end.
