Managed to  sort the greenhouse out and moved the overwintering pots outside to a nice cosy corner of the garden.  It's all ready now for a load of plug plants being delivered next week and the seedlings that I have been growing.  Still have quite a few seeds to sow. Oh and haven't painted the rest of the fence yet.

Going to move all my remaining seedlings and equipment except heated propagator to the poly tunnel today as we have had a week of the temperature not falling below 6° outside and 7.2° in the tunnel.

So I will be sowing all my seeds in there from now on, any that need a little bottom heat can come home and go in the propagator until they germinate.

Stir crazy here ! I need to sort out the pots of bulbs in the greenhouse, get them out and then clean it. Once l've done that, l can sort out the propagator and start sowing. It's lashing down with rain and blowing a hooley, so not today then  :(
However the forecast from tomorrow onwards looks to be improving, so l am sorting out the seeds for the 95th time today.

Checked all the l sowed early in the week and found they had started to show their little heads. Need to sow more seed but don't have the room and no greenhouse but seen something on another thread that might help. No raining at the moment but that wind, Ho for some quiet days so I can get out into the garden.

I usually pot up things outside but don't have anywhere weatherproof or comfy to do it unless it is nice out.
So laid paper in the kitchen and brought compost indoors.
Dug up clumps of primroses and split and potted up for my mother.
And cuttings that need potting on.
    Bliss.

Took me a while to clean up after and compost got everywhere despite me being careful. Mud pies for dinner :)

    Tidied up a little.

Made up some compost 35% of my garden “compost” 35% of my “loan” 20% my “leaf mould” 10% potting grit...looked terrible

Planted seeds of rudbeckia, helianthus anuus claret, passion flower, and few other things free with “Garden Answers”.

we shall see if anything grows this year!

Checked out my dahlia tubers, two covered in mould, three okay.  The giant one looks perfect, I’m wondering about dividing it up.  Put two into pots with seed mix.

Checked out the gladioli corms, lost the red ones completely.  Scraped all the corners off the rest.  Some are sprouting roots again already...

Bird feeder up and seed thing filled...it’s a test to see if the wind will destroy it.

    Mowed the lawn.

Clipped a few cornus alba branches and stuck them in the ground in the back.

    Sprayed the patio with resolva.

Dinner sound great Rubytoo might be the same here. Just decided to sow a few more trays of seeds and split the Canna's then that's it till I can get some more compost.
