Planted three agapanthus Black Buddhist following a trip to our local, small but very useful, garden centre to buy more pots. Farmer Gracy order arrived yesterday - a relief following first two orders since moving here going astray. I do not hold FG responsible for this - to certain courier companies "our address doesn't exist!"

We had two days of rain last week which very much helped re-fill our underground cisterns. Our underground cisterns supply our house and the water for the gardens so it is usually welcome.

My VW nematodes arrived just in time for the wet(ter) weather, got them watered in and hopefully the damp conditions will last a few days so they can get to work.

Talking of work, I ordered about ten grand's worth of perennials today for a private garden my company's working on. Nerve wracking stuff!

@Loxley, golly!!! must be a large garden. I thought my £500 order for the school memorial garden I helped design and plant  a few years ago was large enough.

I've had little to send @JennyJ and @didyw only drizzled three times. Mind you hubby only 9 miles away had two downpours.🙄 Just seen the forecast and you might get some Wednesday Jenny.😀

Looks like all of us should hold fire on planting, as mid week an Arctic freeze is on its way, again!

    I come out in a cold sweat if I spend £50 @Loxley 😆

Good result @GWRS. Fancy your chances in the play-offs?

Lincoln have come a long way since the only time I've seen them in the flesh - away at Nantwich Town in the FA Trophy ;)

There's about 750sq.m of planting, all going in at around 5/sq.m. Client wants a mature looking garden this summer... it's very nerve wracking

@Loxley - £10k worth of perennials! I wonder what that looks like when they are all lined up. @purplerallim - I come out in a cold sweat if I think my hubby might realise that my plant orders quite often come to £50!  But after this year of restocking the garden I should get by with just seeds and cuttings.  Unless I visit a plant fair of course.

Plant fairs are always a killer. I'm being very strict re plant buying this year, I have young plants I grew from seed last year to plant. But when I was searching for plants for that big job, I saw some very nice things that I would love to crowbar in, somehow!

@Biglad , I think we will make the play offs but then it’s anybody’s guess

I did some buying for my new bed last year @didyw , but I too have grown from seed ( the white geraniums were bought as seedlings much cheeper and easier) but when you need supplies plants just seem to jump into your basket too 😊 , so I have bought some bedding like lobelia,  oh and marigolds ( to keep the bugs off the tomatoes) and hubby wanted Gaziania so a tray of them, erm maybe I haven't done as well as I thought 😊😆
