I managed to plant a Magny Cours lily that was already potted into the border. I wonder if it will take and will it attract the dreaded red lily beetle? I finished planting my Belfast sink yesterday and hope that it flourishes - I added plenty of gravel and grit to the mixture. Oh continued wheeling barrow loads of saved top soil onto the lawn that needed reseeding.
Got my order today of fences and posts and wood for garden right in the really wet weather so got soaked trying to sort thought the wood, I moved into a better place - that is all the gardening for now
Hope to check plot tomorrow after the stormy weather dry now - big puddles everywhere and boggy soil in garden
I've clipped the lavender hedge, cut down the ricartonii fuchsias, clipped a few other shrubs, cut down the catmint, done a small amount of weeding, cleared up a lot, but not all, swept a paved path and it's taken most of the afternoon. I seem to be getting slower.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
