Thanks for the reassurance GWRS  :)
It's all looking a bit bald at the moment. Maybe not a bad thing as it encourages me to tidy up the visible heap 😉.

Took a load of prunings to the tip as our green bin is full and doesn't get emptied until late March.  Popped to Ashwoods and bought a new camelia Jury's Yellow (no idea where to put it).  Also got four pots of Crocus Rubys Giant.  Tidied up the bin area.  Lovely day here.

Still tidying up - never seems to end. I want to get on with the weeding but still sweeping up leaves everywhere, where do they come from! Bought a reduced price Skimmia Reevesiana from Hilliers , like @Yviestevie no idea where to put it but have wanted one for some time. They are always more expensive before Christmas so thought this one was a bargain. That's two new shrubs I have to find a home for.

Emptied one of the three compost bins.
  • Hi Kitty
Yes, pruned them all but feeling it a bit sore today. I think the good weather for this time of year had a lot to do with it. Hopefully , mulching and feeding well be a lot easier
    Happy Gardening

I do like Hyacinth , many years ago when at work  I use to have them on my office window sill , Unfortunately o/h doesn’t like the smell , so I no longer grow them

@islander. I have lots of collected nasturtium seeds, and could post you some if you like.
The original shop bought packet I sowed in 2017 was "Empress of India", but the self seeded plants that came up last year flowered in shades of red, orange and yellow. All very sprawly, traily, climby plants.
Drop me a PM (private message) if you want some  :).

Have been to garden centre for compost, so l am ready to go when the time comes for seed sowing. They had some hellebore niger, nice little plants that somehow fell in the trolley. Also nice plump dahlia tubers of "Bishop of Canterbury" that l have been looking for, somehow they fell in as well.
Have planted a couple of hellebores, sorted through cold frames. Back out to prune clematis after a cup of tea.
  • Hubby has been busy got this far today. Isn't he doing well.😃
