I think the risk of frost has gone here so I have been hardening off my veg plants and will start potting them into their final pots this week. I have an old wheelbarrow which I am considering making into a herb garden too.

Potted on 36 nemesias from GC as they were pretty potbound and l am not ready to put them in final positions yet. Watered pots as everything is drying out pretty quickly, not just because of the sun but also the wind. Also responsible for neighbour's greenhouse plants which is pretty nerve wracking, fortunately nothing appears to have died yet. 🤞

It seems to be hedge cutting day today - so did you manage to finish them?
Here we tidied part of the garden - i.e. edged borders, I planted out some bedding plugs and we fed and watered our flowering clematis.  Watched the birds, entertained friends who went home with some of my plant offerings and cleared more blanket weed from the pond.

Only had time to water the planted up hanging basket I've got waiting in the growhouse. I've left the top open for the last week or so and reckon I could put it up soon.

Really chuffed today as one of my compost drums was full of gorgeous compost - it’s about 2 years worth of material and it’s the first time I’ve used it for planting (mixed it with shop compost for my veg pots). One life goal achieved right there.
