Mine too GWRS, we either get cool cloudy damp days or burning hot sunshine.  No show on courgette or squash seeds sown about 10 days ago.  Do I water them every day with fear of the seeds rotting or leave them to bake - perhaps I should have moved the seed trays in hindsight.

Transplanted some sweet peas, potted on the peppers, and watered everything as it's been so hot.

G D , it’s the sprout & red cabbage seeds that don’t look to good , courgettes are already in ground at allotment
Sweet corn 🌽 and squash will need to go in Saturday
Bit of gardening tomorrow and clean garden furniture which has been covered , already got sun umbrella out at Easter

Bought two big bails of compost and two big bags of bark. Emptied three large tubs and made them ready for planting up tomorrow. Went round and straightened the edge of the lawn. Dug up some plants and replanted them where they will look better water everything, then came in for tea.

Been out most of the day so have only watered the pots/troughs near the front door and the newly planted shrubs. Admired the first bloom on Patty's Plum poppy and the white irises. I took the small pink begonias in 5 terracotta pots out the greenhouse and put them on the outside kitchen windowsill. Hope they'll be okay.

@ImpatientGardener, l think we've all done that ! Go to sit out with a cup of tea or something stronger and then notice all the things that need doing!
Potted up 4 troughs with begonias for MIL, potted up some salvia "Merleau blue" seedlings. Top dressed clematis pots.
I have tried to be more organised by having a list that l add to everytime l see something that needs doing, rather than going off at a tangent. It seems to be working (at the moment 🤞) and there is something very satisfying about crossing a job off !

Asked OH to take down a small brick flower bed as nothing grows in it. He's gone of to play golf so guess what I'm doing, yep taking down the brick wall. I have some plants to go in but will see how I feel later. It's cloudy here so it's cooler thank goodness.

I've been potting up most of my lovely plants over the past 3 weeks I want to take with me when we move. So far they seem to be doing well. I sown lots of seeds over the winter in the GH (not aware then we would be moving) so now I'm frantically trying to get them potted up as they grow 🙈
