@purplerallim , l keep mine in a coldframe up against the house wall, and just keep them on the dry side, so they should be fine in an unheated greenhouse.  The problem might be with moisture as l find the greenhouse doesn't have such a good flow of air. If the weather turns really cold l put a bit of fleece over them .

I put all my tubs in the greenhouse to overwinter @AnniD ,  the gazania and fushia do ok so maybe they would too.

Saw the sun shining so I ran out to paint some more of the fence. Got through one and a half panels before the heavens opened. I hope it doesn't all run down the neighbors side!! 🙈
I’ve no idea what I’m doing.

Yesterday I started removing the foxgloves which have gone over now. The FIL turned up in the evening to collect his food shopping and delivered an entire trailer load of compost material. Me thinks this taking my compost obsession a step too far

You can never have too much compost (although you can have too much composting material)!

Picked the last of the strawberries, watered greenhouse and pots, and given the plum tree its summer prune. Hubby cut back next doors bushes that try to bend over and lay on the conservatory.

Dashed out this morning to restake various tall plants in the front border as high winds are forecast over the next few hours, just had one big gust. My poor Stipa Gigantica in full plume is taking a battering.  We do have sunshine however!

The wind woke me very early again, up and about by 430 (I know it's bonkers) for a long day gardening. Created a new over wintering area down by my compost area, it's out of site and sheltered so should be good for divisions, cuttings and seedlings. Completed the foxglove removal and went round the cardoons again. mowed all my and FIL compost material and added to a bin then turned it to the bay. Split some heucarra we bought last weekend, they were huge and I got 4 really good plants out of each excellent value for money. Repotted some eryngiums willmots ghosts and big blue last year's root cuttings and growing really well into big plants. Potted on heucarra, dill, echinecia, and ice Queen kniphoia. Cleared duck weed from the pond and adjusted pond plants and wedged in place with more cobbles. Planted a for tree we were given, it has lovely cloud like clumps of needles, it was totally pot bound and was a devil of a job to get out. Wandered the meadow putting canes in to mark the great knapweed, teasles and ox eye daisy in preparation for mowing the grass. Mrs Wilderbeast dead headed and cleared damaged foliage from the entire garden. Wow what a day, cooked calzone pizzas for tea in the pizza oven flipping brill 😋😋
