Pruned the buddleia and did some more bluebell-hoikery-outery. Too chilly to stay out for long.

Yesterday, topping up the compost bin and leafmould heap, then breaking concrete to get fence posts out.  Today, planted my four new chaenomeles, which I'm hoping will grow into a hedge between the street and the red end of my rainbow border.  Cut them down and potted the severed bits in hopes they'll root.

Oo - first garden waste bin collection of the year tomorrow. I have so much at the mo, so the two large builder’s bags I have can have the twiggy stuff decanted into the garden bin over the next few weeks and the rest can start turning itself into compost.
My garden and I live in South Wales.

Drat! Pruned the Clematis, then realised I'd taken the honeysuckle with it. No honeysuckle flowers for me this year then🤔

After yesterdays fiasco with the Honeysuckle and reading the weather forecast for today I brought two buckets of compost in along with the trays so am sowing my seeds. Trouble in I'm running out of window sills.

Checked the Allotment yesterday & surprisingly no real damage. One empty compost Dalek blown on it's side but had to hunt for the lid. Fruit cage is looking a bit drunk, I should remove the netting in winter really but it's a bit of a pain to do. No gardening today as too wet maybe a footer about in the greenhouse -- still to early to sow much in my wiew.

Well the winds dropped a little but it's now chucking it down with rain.

Did get lucky this morning and found our local German store have had there delivery of compost so got my ten bags and the nice guy put them in the car for me didn't want to chance my back again quite yet.

Will unload them in a few days, also picked up a couple of packets of Marigold seed @ 28p
