    Thanks @Lizzie27

This morning had to go out and save some plants. Had rain and winds overnight,  knocked over some pots waiting to go in,  and a tray full of white geranium overturned and emptied out, dont look damaged so hopefully will be ok. The rest in the garden seem to have weathered it , but the Hawthorne blossom looks like snow on the ground.

No gardening today, yesterday put up canes and cord to protect the outdoor tomatoes against winds, look good so far, all the trees are bending with the winds.

Cut back all the daffodils, deadhead primrose, senetti and rununculus (theyre shortly for the compost heap, wont buy again), put the potting table back together, raked up next doors holly leaves.

Then I want to hack things, sonthe beighbours slring flowering clematis was my target, plus overhanging ivy.  Then painted the fence it exposed.

Yikes @Mary370 I think c Montana is one of the vigorous ones, did you fancy a couple of different climbers instead?
Made the trellis frame today- will cover with chicken wire tomorrow.
Rejigged the planting plan for the raised bed.

I sowed more carrots, lettuce and rocket, watered all the soft fruit, runner beans and peas (taking a battering from the wind today). Also soaked my DA roses as they are in full bloom with competition from hedge roots. Emptied out 8 more pots of black Opo grass and put them out on the drive for free. Most waterbutts are empty so I had the hosepipe going for 3 hours - crikes!
