Started a compost heap - reckon I’ll get compost from the heap before any is delivered.  :'(
Stupid snail got at one of my strawberry plants which were originally planned to go in a hanging planter. It’s been 6 weeks and I’ve heard nothing about a delivery so far.
Oh well at least I have plants to fret over this year in addition to concrete.

I climbed over and into the back of our old garage (long story and quite a performance) to prune a flowering quince (we think the garage extension was built around it!) and the winter flowering jasmine which has gone berserk.

@JoeX your little helper is great mine would be covered in the paint and there'd be none on the wall 🤣

I took the photo in the opening seconds because I knew what was coming - she managed to cover me in paint as well as herself! 😂

@FlyDragon thanks very much, its actually a partially used pot of paint from...and if you’ve seen my minimalist thread you’ll not be surprised...*nine* years ago, surprisingly still good to go if a bit lumpy!  I got the blue idea from browsing pictures online.

I've been planting a few plants out today and doing a bit of deadheading, nothing too energetic.  Lots of tea drinking going on.

Nope, unless you count taking delivery of compost. Taking a day off today, it's far too hot.

  • Mowed, scarified, aerated, top dressed and overseeded my modest front lawn today. Nice day for it.

You've done a good job there @Distorted Vision - time for a glass of wine?
