I planted some potatoes so hopefully will have a good crop later in the year.

I have done a lot of weeding and cleared out under my hedges.

I also chatted to my next door neighbour our the hedge if that also counts as gardening😂😂

I watered my seedlings in the greenhouses, does that count, did a bit of sitting reading in the sun.  Have been busy in the garden for a few weeks now, and it is almost up to date, unheard of, because Hubby is off work.

Managed to get OH to empty some of the compost bin so that l could do a bit of mulching.
Took cuttings from an old sprawling osteospermum,  then cut back the original plant and potted it up.
Tided up the potted salvias and weeded them.

Fell inline with the neighbours and cut the grass this morning.

Afternoon, cleared the propagator of cuttings that have been in there since the autumn, potting everything on ready for hardening off. Was hoping to get my hanging baskets done, I do early lobelia seeds and some fuchsia and ivy cuttings over the winter months for just a couple of hanging baskets. Ran out of time though as the evening became quite chilly once the sun was down. Nothing for it, but to come in for some tea and look forward to doing it tomorrow!

Finished my veg seeds. I’ve done some extra so I can do a few more of everything this year, plus my sister and I are going to do a veg swap once we have some viable plants.
My garden and I live in South Wales.

Is it sad that I know I've dead headed 70 daffodils. 😊

Been glorious here, first day I've really felt the heat of the sun. Lots of potting on and hanging baskets done. Returned some pots to my neighbour as potted on my free strawberries, got another tray of free strawberries!

Not quite done for the day, still have some pots I'm sterilizing and the propagator is in the house for a spring clean. I don't know if potting on is the very definition of 'pottering around', but I actually feel a bit whacked out like I did a full day in the garden, in a good way though.
