Thanks everyone, hubby didn't tell me off too badly for trying to move something so heavy.😊 A bit sore tonight.

Hobbled around collecting flox cuttings and a Dianthus that I want more of. Fed the bananas, tomatoes and cannas. Going to do so penstemon cuttings later and maybe some salvia. Had a go at Toby Bucklands notching method to make a tree thicken out at the bottom will see if I get it right.

Up very early taking cuttings before holiday. Hit lips salvia, black blue salvia, white flox and some hydrangea. Got treated to a rainbow when the sky was still nearly black beautiful sight 😀. Had a chat with compost bins, we aren't normally separated for this long ,😭😭🤣🤣. Of to Devon we do go 😀😀

Hope the hip holds out for the drive @Wilderbeast, enjoy holiday.😁🏖
  •  Did pull at a few weeds, but "the midge" were out in force and, it was like itching powder. Oh, made an interesting discovery; a sizable camomile plant in a rocky crevice in full flower. No idea how it got there.

Deadheaded and fed roses in front garden. Pulled up some weeds, very half-heartedly. Picked first of the carrots and runner beans. OH dug up potatoes and picked snap peas, all for dinner tonight. Then it rained.

@purplerallim the hip has made a miracle recovery, halfway down i was in agony but by Exeter something seemed to have clicked back in place and it's normal again
