    Brought the lupin seedlings in off the uncovered porch. Might be too late for some of them. They started sprouting, so I potted them up last week. Temps dropped to -7 & -10. Will keep any survivors indoors until the temps warm. Not ideal, but we can't control the weather.

    Bought;

    Lawn weed and feed x2
    Patio magic x2
    Replacement Ozito cordless mower
    2x ranunculus red
    2x ranunculus white

    The ranunculus have gone into my wall/bed they’re in flower now, any idea how long they flower for?

    Potted on teasles, primulas and Holly hocks. Nearly filled all the room I made in the greenhouse yesterday. Planted a large mixed batch of bulbs that were a freebie forgotten about, hopefully they might produce something next year.
    Pruned remaining cornus, took a dozen cuttings and hope to double up my numbers next year.
    Sat with a coffee with toh enjoying the daffodils and the boys running wildly round !!! It's lifted a serious case of gloom I was stuck in

    After the frost cleared , turned into a lovely sunny day. Lifted a viola oderata "Kim" which was going mad and divided it. Replanted some and potted up the rest into 4 pots. Bees and 2 Red Admiral butterflies flying around, that plus the birdsong was a great tonic.
    OH went to B&Q this morning, practically deserted . He said the plant section was full, and a lot of Spring bedding such as primula on the shelves.

    Built new mower

    Managed to get the littlest into the garden while I gave the first cut of the year, and a second lower cut, collecting most of the thatch and moss I scarified the other day

    Played on the bouncer, swings and slide...well I went on the swing, Littlest Pot did the lot ;)

    Put down weed/feed/moss/seed combo.

    Done some weeding and not much else. In the same theme as tin pot I played football and built my youngest lad a spinny thing for him to play Knights with, he charges around with a sword and Lance and it keeps him out of my hair while I garden.

    Planted watering bottles along my new row of raspberry canes, and planted three new blackcurrant plants in front of them.  Attacked the Spanish bluebells.  (Can anyone tell me how to convince my husband that my hatred of Spanish bluebells does not constitute racism?)  Transplanted some primroses and London pride.
