Sounds painful @Wilderbeast.  I've finally finished sorting out the top of the garden where the leylandii were removed and it's all ready for planting. Scattered Fish Blood and Bone around the borders.  Just need to get some manure dug in now and then get planting.

    Ouch!! @Wilderbeast

I have had a good tidy up of my flower beds and scattered around fish, blood and bone.

I have turned my compost heap.

Think I have done ok considering I was only going to put some stuff on the compost heap 😂😂

I have just come inside, the cue was it started raining 😔

Wilderbeast  , sounds painful hope it’s ok
Purplerallian like sound of pearl succulents , is it an indoor plant ?

Morning at allotment blood fish & boned fruit bushes and a couple of other beds . Wheel barrow of free bark chippings on a path
Afternoon Bone meal on garden pots and a few beds . Repotted some Lily’s
As ever a bit of weeding at both
    A good gardening day

Thanks all for your concern over my thumb, I'll be honest as a small builder my hands are in a constant state of duress with cuts and grazes. I didn't want to upset the little guy so we laughed about it, then I went into the greenhouse and wrapped it up in a handkerchief and cursed quietly 🤣

Went to the plot today to re sow seeds either eaten or disturbed by vermin earlier in the week and there I was thinking there would be lots to plant out soon.....I wish....all the broad bean and pea seeds eaten. Laid traps today filled with 'big cheese' bait... and plan to re sow more seeds tomorrow.

    Attacked the lawn as I’m impatient now with my lawnmower out of action;

Tried swapping batteries again on the lawnmower, no luck

1st run over with the electric scarifier, loads of damage done 👍

Attacked the remnants of an anthill with a border shovel 👍

    Bit of weeding

Levelled up the water and fire bowls

Swung the hedge trimmer over the fence ivy

Levered up a drive block that the garage door is catching on due to the tree roots pushing the up - didn’t solve the problem so took a tenon saw to the bottom of the garage door. Can finally get in and out freely. 👍

Homebase isn’t prepped my collection so still no mower, but bought more red tulips in the green and some white, red tipped daffodils due to flower soon...and some poppy seed.

First saw string of pearls on GW  @GWRS , loved the look so have been looking out for it. A bit amazed it cost £5 in a florist and only went in because I saw the orange rose. Now all I need to do is learn how to look after it.
