Morning all/afties, evening Pat. Saw the footage of those floods too. Such extremes of weather you have just now. Hope the trip goes well.
Snow/ice gone here now - and hopefully the frozen bits of the garden will defrost- before another one comes in tonight, if the forecasts are right. Wet and windy overnight, but it's settled now and the sun is out. I may be able to rake all the gravel and debris off the grass later.
Good that you can work from home chicky. A trip up and downstairs is much more pleasant than a car journey ;)
    Nice pic.  :)
Hope Mr Wonks has a good day. Is he having jelly and ice cream, Wonks? Has anyone ever had jelly and ice cream......

When Pa was very frail a very frequent favourite pudding was jelly and ice cream ... he said that sometimes he had ice cream and jelly, just for a change :D

Thank you Fairy 😊 thank you Lilyp 😊 he's still managing to sleep through the neighbours noise at the moment... Goodness knows how.. He doesn't like cake Fairy!!!!! I know there's something wrong with him but it does mean I can share any cake with all of you! 😁
I asked if he wanted a dessert... No thank you... Just steak dinner please! We will take the day as it comes.... Still rainy and gloomy!

More tests and appointments lined up for Hubby. PET scan, biopsy needed, blood test, etc, etc. This month’s diary is getting full. I think my Ukelele and gallery rosters might need amending.😡 More worries than I need at my advanced age.  Never mind, we’ll work orvway through it somehow. Not worth getting in a tiss.

ready to turn the lights out now in the motel, then home tomorrow until we repeat the whole thing over again.

Hope it all goes well Pat,  it is a worrying time for you both. I am just back from getting the results of my biopsy - no sign of cancer. I am relieved to put it mildly. It seems that my prostate is enlarged and inflamed which raises the PSA level and obscures the MRI result but no treatment is necessary. It should sort itself out in time once it recovers from the biopsy.

Plenty more tests to come though as there are some other anomalies in my blood which they are chasing down. It is all very fascinating and slightly terrifying at the same time but also reassuring that the NHS is being so thorough.

Oh that's great news for you steephill. A huge relief. I hope everything else goes well too. Take a deep breath.... ;)
Thinking of you too Pat. Crossing fingers that there is nothing too serious for OH, and other things have to take a back seat - your health [both of you] is more important.

I stand corrected Dove! I expect we had jelly & ice cream [and maybe ice cream and jelly  ;)] at parties when we were little. It would have been a relatively inexpensive way of feeding hordes of hungry brats.
Men are so dull Wonks. Steak dinner....harrumphh. More cake for all of us then!   :D
I've been outside tootling around and tidying up. It's really beautiful in the bit of sun we have for now - just about double figures too. I'm not sure how good my dianthus are going to be this year - they were in the firing line a bit with the scaffold and large feet tromping about. Oh well.  :D
