Sorry to hear about the climbers Punkdoc. We haven’t seen anything on our news - it’s all politics or sport at the moment, and oh yes, the disaster in Townsville.

  • Sounds like you’ve got quite enough news of your own down there @Pat E 😉

Sleep well Dove and everyone else.  We’re expecting another 30 degree day with more storms in the late afternoon. Just comfortable at 11 am.

Up comforting distressed dog. Talla had her surgery and it all turned out to be a bigger deal than we expected.  It’s like reverting back to baby days, only cuddles help but she cried for 8 hours yesterday. Classical music, rescue remedy and darkened room finally got her off. However that’s her up again now. Dumb animals can be distressing

Punk I was dreadfully sorry to hear of that young mans death. So hard for families.a very similar accident happened last year.  How is Moira?
Busy L some folks are just down right nosey. I had 67 through the house
.they all wanted to come at supper time.  I Family in walking clothes they didn’t even take their boots off. I found one person stretched out on my daughter’s bed!  Some were so rude they were chucked out when we got near the back door.  It’s a tricky time. The right person is out there.  We should do it the Australian way, open viewing twice a week and the agent does it!

Obelixx we have had roads up for over a year. What on Earth is so difficult? Cake sounds yummy. I made a banana and orange (left over Seville from marmalade) it was surprisingly good

we are awaiting the wind, last week it was the snow, now the wind, At least we are out of Jan which I hate!

right, things seem a little calmer so will try some shut eye. It’s a huge wound and I have to remove the dressing, do you still use warm water.?Just looks like micropore
hope everyone has had a good night
    sorry if I bored you

    Hi all.
Blowing a gale and very wet here.
Moira is doing really well, thanks LP. She had her staples out on Monday, and today she is going to try driving, with me nominally supervising.
Congratulations to littlest chicklet, sounds a wonderful opportunity.
We are off to see Prof. Brian Cox give a talk this weekend, which I am really looking forward too.
