Morning all. Hi Pat - those beds will have annuals in for this summer, unless we get seeds of any quick-flowering perennials which might "perform" in their first year. (I fear we may get some regular visitors wanting formal planting, but I don't think we can oblige because we don't have the time or manpower. Hopefully mixed, pretty annuals attracting insects will be popular.) Then in the autumn we should have some seed-grown perennials which can form a permanent planting, with a bit more of a plan so it doesn't look too haphazard. Spring bulbs too, if we can afford them by then!
Better stop slobbing around in my dressing gown and get dressed...
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.
Late night last night cos we went dancing. No TV then so missed David Bowie.
It was wet last night and is again today but we're enjoying a brief sunny spell. Won't last as there are heavy clouds skudding this way.
Lovely buddleia Pat. I have some sprigs of mimosa on my kitchen table. Rescued by OH after their branch broke in the strong winds yesterday. Hope you get lots more seeds Liri. Good project.
Sewing for me then clearing the decks for decorating.
Vendée - 20kms from Atlantic coast.

Ignore her and carry on doing what you want to do Pat. If she's rude enough to come uninvited and insensitive enough to stay then you should, by now, feel free to do as you wish.

I haven't watched the Bowie programme yet, but I certainly will. I expect to see a few very local shots if it's about his early days - the bandstand in our park where he held his Free Festival, the pub where he started the Arts Lab etc (and where I spent my 16th birthday and much of my teens). We shall see.
Had a lazy afternoon as Friday was a bit intense - last day of college. Pruned roses in the rain. Then a final conservatoire open day with Bow all day yesterday and a meal out for my brother's birthday last night. Hoping to spend at least some of tomorrow in the garden.
Congrats to chicklet, glad Moira's doing OK, hope you get some Regina-free days (weeks?) now Pat, where are you decorating Obxx? and I'm sorry I've now forgotten everything else I was going to say!
