    Hi all.
Nice sunny day here, been walking around "planning"
Really enjoyed Brian Cox last night, he is an amazing communicator, managed to keep an audience of about 5000 people spellbound for over 2 hours, often presenting some quite complex stuff.

@punkdoc. I send a lot of time walking around planning, wish I could get my arse in gear and do some it 😀

    Afternoon all.
We now have oil, but also and airlock. Hopefully plumber might pop by on his way home.
@punkdoc, I'm glad you enjoyed the talk. In laymen's terms, what was it about? How's Moira?
@Lyn I've cleared drains, and cut some firewood when the chainsaw decided to work ( fits and bursts )

    Hi @Hostafan1
The talk covered a whole range of Astrophysics type stuff, from the Big Bang, to black holes, formation of stars, to is there life on other planets and how will it all end.
Moira is really well, I would say completely back to normal, thank you for asking.

  • Wow! @punkdoc that really is good news 😀. It says a lot for your nursing skills. Please wish her well from us.  :)

    Thanks @Dovefromabove
I think it is more about her resilience, and that she thinks she should be looking after me, not the other way round.

    Moira sounds really nice.

I've been tired all day after the broken night at son's. Done a bit of cleaning.

Sun went, it rained so gardening was out.

I like Brian Cox's programmes on TV. Physics was OH's subject at University.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Probably six of one and half a dozen of the other @punkdoc 😉

  • Good to hear about Moira @punkdoc. We saw Brain cox at Watford Colosseum  over a year ago I agree he is a fantastic presenter. It's the kind of stuff that makes complete sense when he says it but I could not possibly explain it to anyone else!
