  • For us Valentines Day is just another opportunity to make each other smile. We try to do that every day ... today is a way of doing it differently ... but never any pressure 💕

    Chicky ... sympathies to littlest 🐣 hope she’s feeling better very soon ... I remember a similar journey ... eh @WonkyWomble ? 😉
And many congratulations to No 1 🐣  ... may it be everything she wants it to be.

Hope everyone else has had a peaceful evening ... night night all ... sweet dreams 😴

I bought flowers, I received chocolates, we had a fabulous dinner with some wine.
    Whats not to like?
    Congratulations to oldest chicklet.

Hubby said to me last night, did you know it was Valentines Day today? No I didn’t and it’s a lot of rubbish anyway.😁 That was that!

Mild weather here at the moment. We’re not sure what to wear. Tracksuit pants and T-shirt. Makes a change from shorts and sleeveless vests. I’ve even put some socks on instead of being barefoot. Maybe autumn is coming.👏

    Morning.
I was just saying on weather thread that the forecast summary looks quite alien for later today - 13 and sun!?!
Sunrise is a bright red splash of colour this morning but there is frost on the ground.
    Have a fab Friday all.
My garden and I live in South Wales.
  • Good morning ... pink and frosty here ☀️ We have a table booked for lunch at The White Horse at Brancaster ... it should be a perfect day for it 😎

Morning lovely people, afties lovely Pat too.
I'me feeling benevolent - don't expect that every day  ;)
LP- my cards are permanently in a shop now. Think I like it better that way  ;)
Congrats to one chicklet, commiserations to the other. Never simple!
Lovely day here with a  wee sparkly frost and the sun getting up. Yesterday turned out nice too - even got washing out and almost dried.
More clearing in oldest's bedroom for me and her today - I won't say the end is in sight as it isn't, but you can see the floor in one half now. Trials and tribulations when they have difficulties in their heads. She's seeing the benefit too and has been noticeably happier. We did have a laugh at some of her daft [and often rude] slogan tee shirts too.
Enjoy your Friday everyone - whether it's lazing, eating, working, gardening or generally ferdidling around  :)

    Oooo - Enjoy @Dovefromabove 😋😎

Littlest chicklet has stopped the sickness and is now asleep.  Hope a corner has been turned.

Looking forward to Monty and his Japanese gardens 🇯🇵 on telly tonight.  One silver lining to Brxxxxit is that I can no longer bear to listen to the news, and have switched allegiance to R2 for the first time in my life.  There was a great interview on with Monty yesterday afternoon, when I was on the M40 B’ham bound 😀

    Morning all.
@chicky, glad both chicks are now happy.
Glorious sunny morning here, no frost.
Dare I continue with the epic woodchip moving, or am I tempting fate , back wise?

Every day's a ferdiddling day for me now, chicky  :D
Hope wee chicklet is on the mend. I'm always grateful that mine aren't prone to tummy bugs or similar. Little fairylet contracted a serious one when she was young- one of the 'notifiable' types. It was local swimming pool filters apparently. She was a 'bit unwell', and that was it, but we had to submit the samples for ages to get the all clear. I knew people who had several family members seriously affected [I won't put you off your breakfast] and it was only because of the health visitor that we found out. She was Number 10 on the list  :D
