That's a shame @Victoria Sponge. The hardwood ones would cost an arm and a leg, I expect Do you cover it in winter? I've just a bought a cover for mine - just a bog standard bench which was here when I moved in. The paint needs done every year as the weather just scours it off. I thought a cover might help protect it over winter.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
Morning @Fairygirl, yes it has a cover but last year I put it in my outbuilding as a chunk came off one of the legs. It never stands in mush, I put it on stones or bricks. The wood doesn't seem very good (to me). It cost a couple of hundred in the sale but I'll buy elsewhere next time and it doesn't have to be a Lutyens or anything special.
The Lutyens ones are such a lovely shape though - very classy. That man was a genius It would be a shame if you can't keep it going for a while yet though.

It should last another couple of years, the back has a couple of dodgy strips of wood and will probably go first. I might try and mend it and repaint so it doesn't look noticeable.
Thank you for the compliment @Fairygirl. I agree about the Lutyens bench, it's a very striking design. A shame you're having problems with it @Victoria Sponge
Loved seeing everyone else’s photos on this thread ...so much inspiration of, and admiration for, your gardens!
Here are are a few of my long border, dug last Autumn. It has been a learning curve, but I’ve loved learning... Lots of gaps now, but still a bit of colour.
