@Dovefromabove it’s Paul’s Himalayan Musk - planted in 2011. Who said gardening was a long game ? 😜😉
Wondered if that was it 😊. My Frances E Lester is taking her time to get rambling ... but she is growing amongst the roots of the big ash ... must say that this year she’s putting on the best display ever so she is trying 😊

As per requests for long views of the garden, here's mine. Featuring, sonic cat deterrent (bottom left), sunflowers about to pop, loads of plants that have been waiting to go in for ages (table), bee nest (top right). I have consulted this forum on pretty much everything you can see in the picture - from dahlias to umbellifers, borage to roses, ivy hedging to bee nests. Thanks to everyone for your invaluable advice.
A pretty garden Fire, pleased that you are able to find your plants answers on here - I also am thankful for the input of fellow/ess knowledgeable gardeners on here. A few pictures from the garden today.The red lilies that return year after year are even more prolic this yearPlatycodon which looks perfect year after year - I love the unopened flower shape.A lovely salvia that attracts the beesPenestemon cuttings taken last winter, beginning to open up now.
A small garden can be trickier sometimes, Fire. Plants have to work harder to earn their keep, and gaps or areas without colour for a long time are more noticeable, so you should be rightly proud of what you've done. Your red lilies are looking much better than mine GD. Mine are very poor this year.
I keep forgetting to take pix of the garden, but they're pretty much the same as last year's anyway!
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
