    My glorious ferns

The rest are just the usual green ones, but these two are little artists what with their unusual colours 😊

Glorious ferns, @Big Blue Sky. Is that Dryopteris erythrosora and Athyrium niponicum? I have both, but they’re just now starting to unfold. Yesterday I’ve added Adiantum mariesii and Athyrium filix-femina 'frizelliae' to my collection.

I love ferns. I am currently on the look out for something a bit different to add to my shady border, which is mostly just ostrich/shuttlecock ferns.
My garden and I live in South Wales.

Nice ferns folks.  I've planted a few this year too.  Never bothered with them before but they look good in amongst the other shady plants.

This is the same one but closer up, it's about 5ft.
A shorter one but no smell and it's deciduous

    Thank you @pitter-patter
I didn’t know the names as I lost the tags, so appreciate your comment - I now know my ferns. It’s always good as it’s easier to look up how to care for them.
I like your new ones, especially the “frizzy” one - so unusual.

    Some photos from today.
    Aquilegia
Camellia nearing the end of flowering (lasted less than a week, individual flowers going crispy after as little as 3 days)
This part of the garden looks good at the moment.
    Iris close-up
And rhodie Percy Wiseman, such a beauty
