  • I don't have a huge amount in bloom yet, though some are flowering earlier than usual due to the recent spell of good weather (which sadly seems to have come to an abrupt end!)

    Forget-me-nots - self-seeded from last year.

I think this is Clematis Joey - it's in a pot and lives at my front door while it's in bloom then gets moved to the patio at the back of the house.

    Camellia Daintiness

    Clematis montana Freda

Lovely set of flowers you've got there, @Catherine164 !
  • Thanks Papi Jo - sadly I don't think they'll be looking great by tomorrow - after today's sleet & rain!

@pitter-patter - the Sanguinaria is worth a try if you can get hold of it.  Mine came from the Harrogate spring flower show a few years ago (I've just been there again today!)  The petals drop quite quickly, but the leaves which follow are pretty too.   :)

Lovely flowers, everyone!  And fab photos, @steephill .
Since 2019 I've lived in east Clare, in the west of Ireland.

Great photos, @steephill. Very good use of depth of field . May I ask what camera & lens you used?
I have Pentax kit, in this case it was the K-1 markII DSLR camera and an old macro lens (FA100mmf2.8).

I'm a Pentax person too. Wish I could upgrade from my K-5 to K-1. I use my faithful old Tamron 90mm.
