    Lovely jubbly  :)

    I love having white flowering plants for exactly that reason. They're brilliant for  the light at dusk.

    It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

    I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
  • I think I love them too @Hazyb although I have only tried growing them from seed once and the seed didn't germinate.  Were these beautiful plants/flowers grown from seed?

    @Guernsey Donkey2

    No. Not from seed.

    I tried from seed too but failed. Am gonna try sowing them again in September and leaving them in a cold frame outside to see what happens over winter. They need a period of cold apparently.
  • Perhaps our winter wasn't cold enough @Hazyb, I may try again depending on the weather later in the year - thanks for the tip.

    I planted astrantia in a seed tray which got knocked over by a pigeon, my OH threw the resulting mess onto a bare patch of soil and 2 years later I have one single plant so they obviously do take some time to germinate.

    It’s looking gorgeous @chicky ... which one is it?

    Gardening in Central Norfolk on improved gritty moraine over chalk ... free-draining.

    @Dovefromabove it’s Paul’s Himalayan Musk - planted in 2011.   Who said gardening was a long game ? 😜😉
