Lovely catching up on all the pics. Some lovely gardens and flowers.
A few from the last couple of weeks between downpours. Everything has taken a bit of a battering but grown like a rainforest, so spent the weekend staking, deadheading and trying to restore ordered chaos.
Pauls Himalayan Musk on the old apple tree carcass
Peony Bowl of Beauty, badly hit by the rain but still one of my favourites
Was given these unnamed alliums by a friend, theyre huge so think they are globemaster
Lost in the jungle
Sweet rocket has given a lovely show this year, on its last legs now
Oxyeye daises and grasses dominating the bulk of the wildflowers areas now
A couple of shots of the long border (variously called the hot border, the west border, the jumbled mess border...). Echinaceas (unknown variety but possibly Summer Cocktail) and Achillea Safran adding a touch of orange...
Mountainous Northern Catalunya, Spain. Hot summers, cold winters.
@WillDB, love the Salvia Verticillata Purple Rain - how tall and wide does it get and has it got a decent long flowering season? Or is it too early to say yet?
Seems noticeable larger and more vigorous than Salvia 'Caradonna' etc, and it forms more of a mound of hairy, lax leaves. They were planted as 5x 9cm pots this spring. Individually they're about two foot tall by a foot and a half wide now, but judging by their growth so far I am expecting them to bulk up fast into large plants.
"What is hateful to you, do not do to your neighbour".
Every picture on here is gorgeous. I have an old apple tree trunk (as from a couple of weeks ago, when the branches finally gave up in the storm) - so I wonder if that would support a rose like yours @jellyfire ?

Tourist awkwardly interrupting a conversation between friends to ask for directions. “The house is that way!”
