  • My white Buddleia also has plenty of butterflies. However, only insects with long tongues can reach the nectar easily, so smaller species of butterfly are not interested.

  • Yes, that is interesting - I will make a note to look more closely at the white Buddleia in future.  I mostly noticed the Red Admirals on our purple/blue versions.

    Just caught up looking at all the lovely photos having just got back from hols.  Some beautiful combinations.  Love the steps Chey and the plant theatre looks great.  When I get chance I'll take a few photos and post.
