Sounds like a rough night LilyP - hope you haven’t a busy day ahead 😫.

Great to see you Pdoc 😀. Glad Moira has a date - hope this one survives the pressures of winter ❄️

And great news from Fairy that the deed is done ✅ , relatively painlessly.  Start making those plans 🗒🏞🥾🎒

Did you get out gardening LG?

Off to Gardening talk this evening .....but a day in the madhouse to get through first 🤪🙃

Hubby has just returned from a fire call - no rest here.  It’s under control, but the land owner if keeping an eye on it.  It’s just behind our back fence line. 😡. Lightning again.

Morning all/afties, evening Pat. Poor hubby isn't getting a break at all, is he?
Hi doc - sorry it's all a bit horrible just now, but I agree that perhaps once Moira gets her op, it'll help you too. It's hard not to worry, and that must be affecting you negatively. Have a good rant on here or the other thread about the neighbour. Or get a big pic of him and take a up darts to let off steam.
Hope you got some sleep LP. I had a wee look to find out a bit more about the condition and wondered if you've had any optimistic news from docs etc about how long it'll take for improvement?
Nice wee frost here, about minus 2. Sparkly garden, although a bit too dark yet to enjoy it.
I might start counting days soon... :)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

Morning all. Lovely colours in the sky this morning - freezing though!
Keep positive @punkdoc - easier said than done I know but Spring is just round the corner so opportunities for sitting in garden with cuppas will be increased at least.
@Lilly Pilly - that labarynthitis sounds like a total drag - keep your chin up (if that doesn’t make it worse?!).
I hope all other ‘team members’ are doing ok and we can all have a straightforward day with no dramas - no more fires, storms, accidents, broken things, germs or arguments...??? Catch you all later.

    Good morning all  :)
    ((hugs)) for @punkdoc and Moira.
My meeting yesterday was fine ... I was able to show them how to improve their application, clarify their ideas etc and also put them in touch with some folk who can help with the development of their project.  I’ll continue to keep an eye fromthe sidelines but it’s two far away from here for me to be really involved in the day to day stuff.

Its raining here ... looks really miserable here ... however I need to go out and buy some food and go to tennis.

    Morning all.
Hosta Hugs to you both @punkdoc.
I think we've acclimatised as we're having to close the bedroom window at night as it's a rather chilly 18C. bbrrrr
    Another sunny day beckons.

Great,  Dove.  Mine are a brown mess of leaves that need to be raked up. 🤭

    Hello Pat,
You're probably in bed now. There was lots on the radio this morning about Australia. Someone wanted to give schoolchildren a bounty of 5p each to collect cane toads and put them in the freezer to finish them off. Do you have them on your property?
Also they mentioned the invasion of blue bottle jellyfish (not strictly a jellyfish but a siphonophore.) Had to look that up!

Nice to see you Pdoc. I hope 2019 gets better - and you both do too.

We've had another vet trip today. What with one thing and another, we've been at least once a week since the middle of December. This time was dog #2 - another good report to go with dog #1's positive report last Friday. So - typing very quietly - we may not have to go next week at all.

For reasons I shan't bore you with (our own choice though), it's a 2.5 hour round trip to the vet. Last time we went to the beach on the way back. This time we did a slightly longer detour and went to Dunster Castle. The National Trust are waking up to the idea that dog walkers are one of the best sources of income during the winter, so they are opening up a lot more of the gardens, out of season. We had a lovely walk in sparkling sunshine, got the name of some interesting looking trees they have. It must be a lot warmer there than here - they have agaves outdoors along the south terrace. But the gardens have come on a lot since I last visited there a few years ago - thoroughly recommended  :)

A bit of sunshine makes a lot of difference  B)
