    We had to take my son to the hospital today. After a few scans and tests the upshot is that he's been diagnosed with a brother. He obviously though disturbing my sleep was getting too hard and called for reinforcements. I guess it's always handy to have a spare but I don't fancy the chances of me hanging onto my impractical car for much longer :'(

    A rare 2 week holiday, a log fire, some wine and something to do with a stork and some bees I think. :#  At least we're fully equipped with boy stuff so that will help a lot. I'm not sure how he will feel about having his brother's hand me down nappies though...

    @wild edges 🥂

    A long time ago someone said to me .., “there is one truth that’s unmistakable, the second child isn’t half as breakable”. ;)

    its quite true, although @WonkyWomble did her best to prove it wrong  :D

    I am glad it isn't a complete mystery @wild edges ! Congratulations!  Someone said to a friend of mine who had found out she was expecting her second (unplanned) baby, "How lovely, double the joy". It was sincerely meant, but how l wished l had a camera to capture my friend's expression.  It was priceless.That baby is now a strapping 32 year old rugby player, and he was indeed very "joyful"  :)
  • @wild edges.  Congratulations :)

    But cant you make a CSA claim against the wine producer after all there was no warning on the bottle about the possibility of getting pregnant??  :D

    Some made a claim against an hotel because they gave then a double bed instead of the two singles they’d asked for!
    Congratulations wild edges, obviously child rearing is not as bad as 🙂it seemed, you must be an optimistic person and believing in greater things to come for our future children.
