Our oil tank is connected to the computer at the suppliers. When we get down to 20% they automatically deliver and have their own key for the tank. Didn't cost anything and saves a lot of hassle from the days when it got very low and an order could take a week or more to arrive. Makes life so much easier.

I don't understand going out in snow without wellies, blankets, torch, water, chocolate - just in case.

As for OH - as we progress into retirement and he is around every day and wanting to "manage" things I did perfectly well before, I find he does only learn by getting it wrong.  In Belgium we had a contract that meant they oil company kept an eye on consumption and topped u sup so we never ran out - except the time they got it wrong when we'd had 2 new bedrooms built in the old hayloft.

No such contracts here apparently and we have to be in and pay by cheque when chappy delivers.

Probably all dressed up in her finery for a romantic night out,  hope she was alright. I can't walk in high heels (never could), let alone push a car while wearing them !

I’ve done it a few times  ... but that was back in the days of minis ... skirts as well as cars 😉

I remember back in the ‘60’s we’d been to a dance,in the mini skirt of course,  when we came out my mini traveller was blocked in by another mini, fortunately it was a Rugby  club dance, the boys picked the mini up and moved it, I drove out and they put the other one back.

She's probably from the North East where warm clothing and any other form of sensible attire would seem to be banned.
