I'm afraid I can't leave it to the gels to sort out, I've a new mattress in the living room waiting to go in and a 'big&bulky' collection from the council booked for the old one.
Oh Hazel, you have my sympathy with so much on your plate at the moment and both of you ill. I hope his meds do the trick and recovery is speedy. All the best for the move👍.Fingers crossed it runs like clockwork for you.
Oh dear 😧. Is your daughters partner the prime mess maker? Maybe let things slip due to hospital visits whilst she was in there, mine certainly does if I'm away from home. Admitted to me he once used every bit of dinnerware in the cupboards and didn't wash a thing for a whole week when I took the girls on holiday with my parents. Cleaned up the day we were due back... cause he knew he'd get it in the ear from me 😆.
Gawd Hazel, there's only so much you can cope with at one time. I agree with roping your son in and see if he has any willing friends to help too. A bed, chairs, and a kettle are priority for when you move.
Have cleared a pile of junk mail from the kitchen to the recycling bin outside. The extra bins are doing my head in as are the new collection times varying from 3,4 and 6 weeks.
We did sit in the club house eating cake, choc biscuits and drinking coffee/tea but.......... .........we did do a walk before hand. Hazel. It's all happening at once for you and yours - hope the contracts get signed and exchanged then you can all relax or at least breathe easy till it all kicks off again for the move. Kitty. I like MU's idea of chucking everything in a heap for the T's to sort out. You can do that after the mattress is sorted. Joyce. Your waste collection sounds impossible. I expect many folks miss the correct date and have stuff piling up. LB. Tree up and running yet? Lants. At least the window cleaner didn't catch you in bed this time.
F'edge - got as far as the tinsel now. I got a bit diverted with the fish tank. I will have some lunch then carry on. This is it with just lights and tinsel on:
Cacoethes: An irresistible urge to do something inadvisable
Delivery men M-U - seem to be a law unto themselves. It has never happened to me but I'm sure someone on Rez said that a delivery man had actually signed the delivery note and chucked the parcel over the back fence.

Kitty - Aloes are great!
MU - okay, thanks for the tip! Community garden isn't open much in December and not in this weather!
Our bins are collected every other Thursday. Except when it's Monday. Or Wednesday. Or twice in one week then not for a month.
Not to mention 6 bins between 12 properties.
