    Evening all.
I’ve done my Santa bit today and made up a gift bag each for my three colleagues in my little team (of the big team). Had a battle with my sticky tape as have lost the dispenser so had to revert to the cutting off a piece at a time - how retro/frustrating. Will have to rethink the method for the rest of the wrapping!
Pretty chilly tonight so glad I’m not venturing out to the work Xmas do tonight (not my scene now with my tachycardia thing). Memories of standing outside bit worse for wear in silly shoes and an inadequate coat, waiting for a taxi - totally freezing. Am looking forward to hearing the stories tomorrow- expecting one trip to A&E, one embarrassing liaison, one being sent home early as too much pre-party drinking, and somebody coming in to work tomorrow who had planned to not drink much and go home early but did not.
My garden and I live in South Wales.
  • @Fairygirl :) we didn’t accept his offered payment. He was a nice lad ... apologetic and grateful ... he suggested that he stay outside and we could plug his phone in and charge it but it was cold out there so we let him into the hallway ... he gave straightforward credible and open answers to our questions ... obviously a nice lad with good social/conversational skills but not at all pushy ... a credit to his family ... and there were two of us here. I wouldn’t have let him in if I’d been on my own.

Ive been starting to set the 16 row Aran pattern on OHs jumper ...  it takes quite a bit of concentration ... im really tired now so night night all ... sweet dreams.  :)

Morning everyone. I’ve been out to check the rain gauge - 20mm in the last two days and more storms to come. 😁😁😁😁😁 It sounds as though you’ve got similar weather Obelixx. Strange.

Off to town for shopping shortly. I still haven’t read back, but I will to see what you’ve all been up to.

I’ve just planted out the rest of the zucchinis and cucumbers. Only have the rest of the basil to do now and then I can get into weeding the rest. It’s so much easier with wet soil instead of hard dry excuse for soil.

I decided to play around with my zentangle instruction book this afternoon. I haven’t done any for a couple of years, so it’s all a bit awkward.😏

    Hope all are well.

Just googled zentangles - they look amazing.  Show us what you create 👩🏼‍🎨👩🏼‍🎨👩🏼‍🎨

Heading off to Nottingham after work, staying overnight and then Birmingham tomorrow.....and that will be both Chicklets home for the holidays.  Yay and double yay 😁😁😁

I’d be too embarrassed to show my bumbling efforts Chicky. It’s fun though.😀

That's a grand looking sky Pat - glad you're getting your much needed rain
    Monring all/afties,evening Pat
Wee frost again here, and lots of stars in the dark sky, I think Venus is visible again but not sure. Either that or it's Richard Branson's rocket  ;)
There's a spammer on the 'expert lawn' thread if anyone wants to flag it.  :/
I forgot it wasn't just you in the house Dove. It does make a difference, doesn't it? Nice when young people get a good press though. Some of them are twuts, but the majority certainly aren't.  I always prefer getting served in the supermarket by youngsters:)
Better go and feed the birds - the robin was out  on the fence  right away yesterday when I put the food out, even though ti was still dark. He's not daft.
Must do my cards today and post them as I've already had a few.

Have a good day everyone, whatever the weather, and whatever you're doing
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
  • Good morning all  :)

Hopefully the electrician is coming today to do a couple of little jobs ... I s’pose I’d better get up and dressed ... :flushed:

    Morning all.
Very hard frost here this morning, but at least the sun is coming up.
