I lost a few sentences yesterday on the site and couldn’t get it back so I just gave up and didn’t try to repeat it. I forget now what I wrote.🤭

That explains why I couldn’t do anything Pauline.😏 Thanks.
I remember one of the things I wrote. Has anyone heard from Hosta since his night out. After last year’s shenanigans I was a bit worried about him.
Weve had rain - a whole 3mm. Der!

    Morning all

About to head off to the airport.  Within striking distance of New York on Saturday LilyP, so some solo sightseeing will be done.  Not the right time of year for the Highline, but I’m going to seek it out anyway 😎

See you from the other side  ✈️
  • Good morning all  :). I was going to say the same @Pat E. We’ve not heard from @Hostafan1 since he said they were going to walk to a new Chinese restaurant ...  :/

Ill send you some rain Pat ... there was sooooo much rain yesterday when I was driving across the bleak Cambridgeshire fens yesterday ... there’s more than enough to share ...

    Morning all/afties, evening Pat.
I gave up on the site and hoped it would be ok today. I thought it was just me....
Not had time to read back. Have a lovely trip chicky  :)
Not like Hosta to not post once or twice. Hope all is ok with him and hubby.
Liri - I can't remember how I found that Resolver site, but if you just google it, it'll take you through the procedure. Very simple to use.  I think I couldn't see an email contact for DPD [ I won't phone about something like that ] and looked up one of those  forums that give you alternatives. It may have been on that.
Hatches will be battened later for the very high winds/rain forecast. Further west and south is having the rough stuff just now, so keep safe anyone in the firing line. Just as well you aren't going for a ferry today Liri - there's none  :D
Hope the graduation goes well BL, and no one gets blown away.  ;)
Love to Mary - we're here if you need us, remember x
Just time to have a quick look round before I go. Have a safe, warm day everyone.

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

lilly pilly. ring Donald Russell on the phone number given on their web site. If they haven't got an order in process get on to the bank or credit card company to get any payment stopped. Mum had a weird phone call saying her BT bill had not gone through, they just needed to check her bank details. As soon as she put the phone down she thought something wrong. The bank froze the account, then set up a new one , new cards etc, and transferred all direct debits. Better safe than sorry.

    Morning all.

I hope you enjoy New York, Chicky. My favourite bits were Central Park and a boat trip down the harbour to see the famous buildings and the Statue of Liberty all lighting up in the dusk. And, of course, being in Carnegie Hall when OH and the choir were singing there in 2015.

    Off to get in logs.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
