Get yourself cooled-off Hosta - must be hard going out there 😉😅

    Cupcakes available...who’s putting kettle on?

Watching Strongest Man - don’t know why but I love it! I have a few suggestions for new rounds: carrying bags of compost from the boot to the garden, moving patio pot plants (in ascending size and weight), and pushing a wheelbarrow full of wind-fall apples up hill on wet grass!
My garden and I live in South Wales.

If that is what you are doing, Hosta, then you have plenty of time to read 200 posts! Internet allowing.

Was going to watch "Death and Nightingales" but OH rang from Edinburgh so recorded it.

Was quite a nice afternoon here, the storm must be much further north.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Been for a drive out the back of our place. Here is No. 3 Dam. The fence post on left is the old water level.  We used to tie a Yabby trap to that fence post which had it under the water level. 🤬

I’ve planted out some zucchini’s and cucumbers today. I’m still a bit nervous of the weather turning too cold, so only one of each so far.

    Morning everyone
Pat your photos are scary! The water levels have dropped so much, are the yabbies still there?  I think Chicky has taken that photo from the aeroplane
lovely and still here this morning, storm has passed through but traffic still not allowed to.  Poor village is suffering losses but selfishly I am enjoying the quiet!
where are you all? Up and at em

    I'm here LP  ;)
Morning all/afties,evening Pat. Have you got any rain on the horizon, or anywhere in fact?
I love the pic chicky. They're like a layer of marshmallow when you're above them. My pix are usually from a little lower than yours though  ;)
BL - D.& Nightingales was very good. The girl in the lead role was in Derry Girls, if anyone watched that. Very different part!
Still windy and wet here, but not so hideous as yesterday. To come back later though, especially high winds,  and overnight as well. Hoping my ceiling holds up... :/
Quick look round and then I'll go. Stay warm and dry everyone.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
  • Good morning all  :)
@Pat E your typo made me smile as that must be Gods view as she looks down from her sofa  ;)
i tried to send you some rain yesterday but it looks like my aim was off target and it went to Sydney instead ... Ooops! :flushed:
