A Smart meter was installed when the new boiler went in a few years ago.

Being battered by storm Dianne now. Bins blown over and rain lashing down.

Quite a big storm this one as Diana is hitting Brittany at the mo and there are weather warnings out.   We should get some of the tail later on and there's another depression following on so a few soggy days in store.  Calm and dry at the mo tho dull.

I hope everyone has their garden battened down and stays safe and dry.

Evening. Just nipped out to retrieve bin - loads of branches and debris on drive and path already and more strong winds due again first thing tomorrow!
Had a quiet day off today - sorted out ‘Christmas cupboard’ and started gathering bits for festive wreath and craft making on weekend. Oh - also made some cherry and chocolate cupcakes 😋
Hope you all ok and not too wind-swept.

    Nae chance Hosta  :D
Bit rough here, glad to get home from work. Blowin' a hoolie and pouring. Not looking great for the next couple of days. Hope I don't get too much more water ingress in the back hall - there's a fresh wet patch on the existing bit. It depends which direction the wind comes as it's obviously forcing it up under the lead flashing. Man coming on Friday to check it out, but all the companies are busy for weeks.  :/
Any cupcakes going spare, AuntyR? They sound nice  :)
