    Home again.
    Moira needs a cholecystectomy, unfortunately.
Hassle with NDN and solicitor, seems far less crucial now, but is slowly getting sorted.

Glad there's some progress there doc, as you'll have enough to deal with re Moira. Hope she's ok.
Great exercise Obelixx- I'm always astomished at how much energy you have. Do you ever have any issues with your feet, after the bother you had?
Sh*t shifting is good for keeping you warm too BL  ;)
Turned miserable and dank here. Some more sun would have been nice. I doubt it'll get any warmer than the four degrees it is just now  :/
Birds have guzzled everything I put out this morning. They were all making full use of the pond, for a drink, first thing too. At least it wasn't too badly  frozen - a small nudge from my toe broke it up  :)

HUgs for Moira Pdoc.  At least gall bladder surgery is routine these days and she'll have less pain afterwards.   Hope it happens soon and does the trick.

FG - I do spend a fair amount of time parked on my derrière - noodling here researching stuff, sewing, reading........    My feet have been fine since the magician did his stuff.  I can't wear heels over 1 inch cos the middle toes are all double jointed and get to take my weight now but that's fine.   The only thing is that I now have arthritis in some of those toes and that can be painful so lots of turmeric and no walkies on dance days.

Birds are eating well here but only Cosmos and the dogs drink from the bird bath/bowl.

Fairy its biitter here! Glad I got out this morning. Got a lot done in the long border and thrilled to see the roses I thought dead have thrown up some healthy new shoots! I will hopefully get some manure spread.  Not cutting back as much this year. Anything that has a seed head stays

Punk sorry Moira has to have that but very very glad you had your special dinner without any episodes. Will she have to wait long? I know two who have had it and feel much the better for it.

Obelixx so many talents! And then dancing and even time for 3posts!! (What kind of cake was it) I remember Joyce telling about turmeric, I honestly didn’t find any difference. My very long body loves the heat!

Busy do you cut everything back in your long border?

pat you are lucky OH cooks. I have tried to teach OH but it just doesn’t work. He is very good at clearing tho!

its bitterly cold again tonight  🥶

    Evening all, night Pat,
Busy day at work but nice to get out delivering for a while around the Suffolk villages I grew up in. Saw my godmother and her husband and my  favourite landlady too, so had no lunch break as I was too busy nattering!
Sorry to hear Moria is needing treatment Pdoc, please send her my best wishes, if only there was treatment for your next for neighbour!
Pleased to hear your roses have survived Lilyp, I hate giving up on a plant, it's why I have a holding pen of potential survivors in a corner of my garden.
No plans for doing much tonight, might be designated a fend for yourselves night for dinner! 😉
Have a good evening all 😊

    Evening all.
Hugs from me to Moira too. Bless'er.
We have a walk along the beach around 5 each evening which is the perfect time to admire the efforts of the young men training on the beach
We're sitting on the balcony waiting for the sun to go down ( about half an hour to go ).
Hubby is having a beer and I'm having a nice cup of tea and some toast with home made , local , peanut butter. Yummity yum.
We're off for a bit of a wander tonight to a new Chinese restaurant which opened about a mile or so from here on Sunday evening and we've heard good things about it.

I cut back all the perennials, Lily P if I'm mulching it. Some years I don't cut back much at all but then it's a rush in the spring. There are daffodils so I want to be able to see them in March. I won't have time to cut back all the beds so there is always somewhere for wildlife and it all depends a bit on the weather. If it tips with rain all winter, like last year I don't get much done at all. Half the long border is now done that's 15m of it, 2m deep.

Then went to drink tea with friends.

  • I’m sure Moira will feel much better after the op @punkdoc ... a friend is so improved. Wonky’s idea for a procedure for NDN is great ... even if just for a daydream now and then  ;)

@Hostafan1  have a lovely meal ... maybe a taxi back to the hotel?  ;)

have a good evening everyone  :D

Thanks for the best wishes for Moira.
It is a much more straightforward operation now, than it was a few years ago. We are told there is a fairly short wait, whatever that means. Sadly the days when I could have just have got a colleague to do it on their next list, have long since gone.
@Hostafan1, agree with @Dovefromabove, get a taxi home.

I'm sure there is 'treatment' for doc's NDN - but it would be highly illegal.... :D
I think it's brilliant you can dance so well, and so often, Obelixx.
Naught naughty Hosta - ogling other chaps. Although, if you're both doing it.... ;)
Had a very peaceful afternoon at work on my own, which I rather enjoy. Boss was away, part timers both finished by lunchtime, my colleague was looking after one of her unwell children, and one of the other girls wasn't well, so we all told her to go home at lunchtime.
Certainly quite unpleasant this afternoon LP. Dank and chilly. Hard to believe it's almost December though.

A wee sky pic from Sunday morning, from my kitchen window. The windfarm in the distance  is quite a well known visitor area now. Sevral miles from me , up on the moor
