I hope you have a lovely birthday, Obelixx, and I hope Chicky has a great weekend with Chicklet.

    Good morning all.

Did anyone see that programme last night about the Skripal poisoning? Was someone we know on it?

I have just found daughter 1's Christmas present from last year, had lost it, a slim envelope with a card that entitles me to a face massage, but the date limit has just passed. They said they could do it today. Must now look at the map for the back way as the yellow vests are blocking the roundabout.

    Hi all.

    Happy B'day @Obelixx.
Cold, damp and foggy here, must confess I am still in bed, I am reading Winter by Ali Smith, which is excellent.
Have a great time with chicklet, @chicky.

Obelixx, if you want a small eucalyptus, you might find one here suitable. They grow all sorts, some are good as small shrubs with foliage for flower arrangers.

I've just found a toad in one of the compost bins. As it has a tight lid and no holes in the side, it must have burrowed up from the bottom.  I must make sure I don't stick a fork in there like I usually do.

Thank for all for the birthday wishes.

Toad has found a cosy spot.  Good for him/her.  I shall look at that site later.  Thanks.

Back from lunch and shopping and may need a snoozle.  Usually, after lunch out, OH and I go for a stroll to walk it off and get some fresh air but it is persisiting down for once which is a great prezzie really.   I don't eat breakfast Dove but OH brought me juice and coffee.

That's good of thel Busy.  Hope you found a way round.  No gilets jaunes here today.  Luçon is clearly too small or too easy to get round.

Hope you're having a lovely birthday Obelixx. Helluva job when the b*ggers can't get up and make you a cuppa   ;)
Hope you made it to your massage BL. I'm always in two minds about them. I'm all for people power and the right to protest - but peacefully. All very well, but it's a right royal pain in the ring for everyone else going about their business.
Chicky - yes, Whitelee. I can see it best from daughter's bedroom upstairs. When it's clear enough of course. Couldn't see anything beyond the coos in the field today. They're about half a mile away, in the bit just beyond that bungalow roof in the pic.  :)
Have a great time with chicklet.  :)
Good luck with the car Dove. They really are a necessary evil.
Better day here today. Chilly first thing, but much brighter and drier. Mrs Blackie was stuffing her face with pyracantha berries when I came home. I caught a video of her on the camera the other day, being 'courted' [ie - chased] by Mr Blackie. She clearly wasn't impressed  :D

The yellow vests were on the big roundabout but not stopping cars. They were singing and had lit a fire and got out some chairs, looked more like a BBQ party!

The beauty shop in the gallery at the supermarket was in a temporary premises while their new bigger shop is being prepared so they weren't doing massages but they said I could choose what I liked. I exchanged the card for a pot of face cream, more expensive than the one I usually use. Just had a passport photo done and I look terribly wrinkly! :o  So maybe I need the cream ;)

Just get a large bulldog clip BL - and pull it all to the back of your head  :D
I took little fairy for a drive, and we had a beautiful sky as we drove back in, so I ran back out with the camera round the corner, before it all disappeared into the darkness

The wee coos posed obligingly too  ;)

Happy Birthday Obxx! Hope you've had a lovely day.

Doing a re-run of last Friday and Saturday: college today, brother tonight, all day at a conservatoire (different one) with Bow tomorrow, concert (band this time, not choir) in the evening. Then relax on Sunday!

I've started watching the 'Around the world in 80 gardens' series which I'd recorded - didn't see it when it was first on. Yesterday I saw the Australia and NZ one - really interesting.  Have you seen them, Pat? Now I know where @Lily Pilly got her screen name!

How's the holiday Hosta? I wonder how Liri is doing in Madeira. And enjoy your cinema trip, chicky :)
