  • Good morning all. :)
Gday  Pat :). Yes Wonky is a great cook ... she was one of those children who had to be with you doing whatever you’re doing so she just absorbed it. At 16 she did the on location catering for a film cast and crew for a week entirely on her own. She was also complimented on her cooking by the late great Keith Floyd when she worked in the kitchen of thd local pub.  :)

So glad you had a good time @punkdoc :)

Keep your head down Hosta and relish the fact that the parents will probably have to pay a fine for taking the children out of school ... glad you’re butch enough to enjoy thd heat ... I’d have melted  :o

    Obelixx you sound busy!

Waving to Fairy, Aunty Rach, LilyP, Busy Lizzie and anyone I’ve missed. Still posting on my phone most of the time so it’s a bit laborious  ;)

Morning/G’day all. A tad chilly this morning but at least not raining.
Bit alarmed how quickly November is rolling through...
    Have a good day all.

Thanks Aunty Rach. It’s cold here too. We’ve had the air con going all day. 😏 So much for summer.

    Morning all.
And we still have internet at our room. Shh , don't tell the boss, the tight fisted old sod that he is.
The laundry is behind our room and there are 4 women washing by hand because he won't buy new washing machines!!!!
I was talking to the lovely guy who looks after the pool ( superbly ) yesterday and he said the only visitors who every behave like the Brummies " are always English. Why do their children have to shout all the time?"
It's like Jeremy Kyle on tour.
Fingers crossed they go and spend the day with their relatives at a neighbouring hotel.
@Wonky sounds like a real credit to you @Dovefromabove. She is , indeed, a very talented, independent you n l

Morning all/afties, evening Pat. 8mm doesn't sound like an awful lot of rain, but better than nothing for you. Better than all the other stuff though! Nice rainbow.
I took some nice  dawn, sky pix on Sunday. Must look them out.
Hosta - I couldn't cope with the heat or the screaming weans. I'll stick with the lovely crispy frost here    :D
doc - can't add much to what's been said. Good luck with  both scenarios.
LP-  my space bar isn't working very well, so I'll apologise now if I've notcorrected any words that are all 'jined up'. A bit Parliamo Glasgow   ;)
Hi Dove - waves a wing and a wand... :)
Wings and wands to everyone else too, and I'll catch up later after work.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
