Hello you three. I’ll keep a watch out for the late posters. no real plans for today. I’ve caught up with the laundry, but I’ve potatoes to plant when I’ve got the site ready, so maybe a bit of gardening. Clear skies here and prediction of mid 20s. Hubby has just left to take a fire truck in to town for tyre replacement. Would you believe that they put the wrong ones on last time? Der! The guys have to drive through rough tracks, etc to put out fires and the council people gave them town tyres. Enough! Don’t get me started. Night all.
Hello and welcome, Ziggy. Good to hear from you Wonky, hope the tummy is better and you feel rested. Good morning Pat.
Been quite a busy day today. Dealt with emails, bills and correspondence this morning, also we took OH's car to the garage for servicing. Then we took it for it's MOT this afternoon, passed. Also did food and milk shopping. The yellow vests/gilets jaune were out in force on the roundabout, but they let us through. I'd put a yellow jacket on the dashboard. It's a nuisance, but I do agree with their cause. I don't think Macron knows what it's like living in the countryside with not quite enough money.
Spent some time cleaning out the horses' winter shelter this afternoon. Earlier in the year one of the 200kg of hay that the farmer delivered it was mouldy so the horses wouldn't eat it. My back didn't feel up to sorting it out then.
Going to dentist son tomorrow. A few weeks ago a piece of tooth fell off.
Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.
Thanks folks for sending more posts. I was feeling a bit lonely in my new time zone.😏
B Lizzie, my sympathy to the horses with mouldy hay. It’s hard to get hay here - not much available for love nor money because of the drought. They’ve been bringing huge truck loads from Tasmania to help the farmers.
Hi Dove. Not a bad day. Planted the potatoes as I planned. Not much else. We have lots of cloud gathering so the storm prediction might be correct (for a change)😳
Morning all/afties/evening Pat. Welcome to newbies, hi to returnees and 'slight absentees' - must try harder Wonks Hope you're a bit better today. A nothingy sort of day here for now - chilly, damp ground but dry overhead and not too windy at the moment. 5 degrees or so, so about the norm. Funny to hear the forecasters say it's to be drier in the west today. A phrase we don't hear very often BL - do any politicians anywhere of any persuasion have any concept of being 'ordinary' like the vast number of people they represent? They're all so far removed from reality nowadays. On that depressing note, I'll love you and leave you Have a good day everyone
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....
I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
We are watching a show about females in Saudi Arabia - to do with the new freedoms. I’m not sure I want to watch the whole item. Our storm hasn’t arrived, so not sure what’ll happen overnight. Could be noisy.
Morning Dove and BusyL, afternoon Pat, sat at work just catching up with you in the car before I go in. Very cold and rainy here! Long johns on as standard from now on! Tummy much better thanks BusyL, think it might be stress, seems to be a pattern to it all. Go easy when stuttering the stables, take care of your back, wrists etc...Christmas is coming and I'm sure the feast isn't safe in anyone else's hands! Dove that goes for you too...delegate heavy pots please!!! And no window cleaning! 😉 Pat lovely to hear of someone able to garden at the moment! The tyre story begs belief!!! Have a good day folks, morning to those to come 😊 Typed this post at 7.45 forgot to post...lol I'm trying Fairy 😂

Hope you tooth can be repaired.
