Good afternoon.   We have been to La Rochelle to meet up with our friends on their way back to the airport form Ile de Ré.  They loved La R - who wouldn't ? - and we've had a gander at the old streets and stone archways to keep people safe from rain and shine, had coffee in a fabulous old café, been round the weekly market and Halles and had lunch by the old harbour.

It started to rain as we neared home but it's only lasted half an hour.  Just enough to wet the windows and make trees drip a bit but not enough to soak the ground.   More please.

Don't like Grand Designs - presenter - or house build programmes in general now.   Once our shower room is complete that's it for us.  Some decorating and tweaking but other wise all garden projects henceforth.

Garden visiting tomorrow with the club so I need to make us a picnic later and some biscuits or cake to share but first a snoozle.   I have some Bramleys I bought at the English shop in Belgium.  Might look up turnovers for OH.

Hope you're all having a good day whatever you're up to.

Lots of knitting done ... now to see it all together ... but that is for tomorrow ... night night all ... sweet dreams everyone ...

    Morning all.
Well, so we're so down with the "yoof". We binge watched Killing Eve last night.
I'm going to stick my neck out and say it was better than The Bodyguard.

    Morning anyone who's around/afties Pat if you're there  :)
Daughter delivered to work so another cuppa for me and a shufty round here.
Pink stripes all over the sky here as dayligth starts to appear, so it looks like something's brewing, as forecast. Either that or Strathaven's on fire.
Some of AuntyR's apple turnovers would be good. I could have made some with my apples if I'd thought about it. Too late - gave most of them to ex hubby for a colleague to make cider. Birds and insects are having the windfalls.

It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

    Good Morning, Fairygirl, and Hostafan.
The birds are having most of my fruit this year. I didn't put up the moth traps at the right time,  so the plums had pink wigglers in them, and a lot of the apples have been damaged and won't store, and I have a freezer full of apple puree already. Mums freezer is full, she gave me a tray full of tomatoes yesterday, so I have those to process somehow today.
Some bulbs arrived yesterday, so I have more pots to plant up today.
    Have a good day folks.

Morning all!, we’ve just been woken up by someone’s car alarm 🤪. I’m hopefully going to clear some weeds today, that’s if our in laws don’t pay us a surprise visit as they didn’t turn up last week

Coal face duties for me today.
I popped in yesterday to look at the rota. 3 drivers doing double shifts again to day.
    Management?
