Thanks for alerting me Dove. It’s a bit difficult with his photos. I’ll wait to get a response from him. I haven’t worked out yet (I’m engrossed in a tv show) what he plans ie. indoor or courtyard or garden etc. I agree the first one looks like a Ficus.

The show we are watching is Who Do You Think You Are - Craig Revel Horwood. Apparently he is well known in the Strictly Come Dancing Show. Interesting.

One of the original judges here Pat and known for being very critical and not using his 10 paddle.   Also known for his work in musical theatre here.   He can cook too -did quite well on Celebrity Masterchef a few years ago.

Thanks for that info Obelixx. I’m not familiar with his face or name, but because he was born in Australia, it was interesting.

I'm glad you ae having a good holiday, Chicky. I had no problem with your lovely photos. I hope it's not getting too cold where you are, only 4° here in Dordogne.

Limousin cows come from about an hour north of where I live. I'm a bit surprised about being owned by a dairy farm. They are beef cattle. The calves are kept with their mothers in the fields and killed youngish for veal. Kinder than the horrid old way of keeping them in dark barns, separated from their mums, I never ate veal because of that.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

    Hello all,
Love the photos of the bull and cow. It's cold here but just been for a long walk with the dog and it was quite pleasant out of the wind.

Thanks Dove and Hosta for advice about my agapanthus. I live in Cornwall so a lot of rain but quite well drained where they are.

They do that don't they ... they think you're shoving them 'cos you love them
No - this one was just an idle s*d Dove...  :D
Been a glorious day here, once the frost wore off and there was some warmth. If you were in  the sun, it was warmer than many summer days we get - it got to about 17 or 18 for a while. Only 3 now though.
Lovely pix chicky - so glad you've had a good trip. You both deserve it  :)
Not sure why they have some beef cattle BL, although it's probably to further and improve their stock.  Their milk's good  ;)
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...
