    Hi all.
    Grey, cold and miserable.
How can you lie there and think of England

Hi all. Hot, hot, hot here today.🤬
we managed to get the spare room, aka junk room, cleaned and sorted out for our visitors who are planning arrive on Friday. Hardly had time to get the washing on the line before it was time to bring it in. Not much time for sitting.
in bed now and ready for sleep.

I can vouch for the Compeed plasters Hosta - so if the ones fidget's talking about are a big version of those, they should be perfect for hubby's horrid foot  ;)
I completed the last 40 miles of the WHW with a huge blister on my heel caused by my boots being knackered the day before. Had to patch it up as best I could.Wish I'd had them then!
Brightened up here, but not warm. Still some ice on the pond but among the oxygenators mainly.  Could have done with being at home today and getting on outside. We must have had some sleet and snow through the night, as there was a layer on the windscreen. The usual idiots driving with no lights despite the fog and murk  this morning.  :|
My birds are eating loads of fat balls and sunflower hearts Obelixx. It keeps the starlings out of the general garden area, as I have a couple of fat feeders in beside the shed, and they squabble and shriek round there  ;)  I've now got a couple of chaffies visiting which I'm pleased about - or the female one anyway.
It's a place where beautiful isn't enough of a word....

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Captain has picked up the tempo.  We are doing 16 knots and it’s blowing a hoolie almost gale force   Surely that would put any pirate off?
away to read what you have all been up to .

Great Aunt Sylvia made the papers...

    Legend.
Considering she is my Great Aunt, and I am a Great Aunt, there will be five generations at her 103rd Do.

Daughter and family left this afternoon.

We are off to Norfolk on Sunday. I hope I can binge on Black Earth Rising, thanks Hosta. OH says the wire isn't long enough to reach the TV but he's hoping he can fix it. Internet should be working now so may be able to watch it on the Laptop.

Dordogne and Norfolk. Clay in Dordogne, sandy in Norfolk.

Hey everybody. Chicken stew on, which must be consumed and cleared away before the Bake Off final tonight. I have even made a Victoria Sandwich to have whilst watching - it’s not a show-stopper but I bet Pru loves a slice of plain ‘Vicky Sarnie’ with a brew.

I hope you all ok. Your Slyvia IS a legend @fidgetbones - love that programme.

    Evening all.
Hubby has been , mostly , a good boy and has rested his foor for most of the day.
Less painful, less swollen, less red, and most importantly , less "seepage"
The dressing is being changed tomorrow morning. I'll not be looking, but I hope it's improved.
I hope you get to see BER @Busy-Lizzie. I thought it was great.
A night of catch up tv for us tonight but I hope Raul wins Bake Off but I won't be watching.
    Devon.
